Good Monday: 6-30=2014

So. New day, new week, new month for CTP Teams. What will it bring? Yay Monday, Yay July!

Congratulations to the Stray Cats for their weekly win. Very impressive. Very impressive indeed.

Congratulations to the SurfAholics Alpha for the second consecutive monthly win. You have set the bar pretty darn high, but we think the Lucky 13 is up to the challenge.

I’m pretty sure that only SAA and Lucky 13 have been in the Premier League every week. For those keeping score (and I am) that would be the 9th consecutive week. I think I see a pattern emerging…

I am sorry to see the demise of the Crazy Cats People team. I understand the dynamic, but I hate to see that happen.

A couple of noteworthy items: July 4th is not only the day for Mom, Apple Pie, Baseball and Fireworks, but also the day for Click Your Face Off to host the Daily Challenge. I’m thinking you can expect a special performance from Sunny and the Lucky 13.

Our man Boris (dechuck) turns out to be a trouble shooting son of a gun. I’m not sure that he has helped every member of Lucky 13, but he’s got to be close. We are lucky (as it were) to have him…

Stuff is bubbling at the Lucky 13. This month will go a long way toward deciding the overall championship, I think. Let the grind begin….

There is an “I” in Team

There may not be an “I” in team, but “I” have learned a lot from my team. Team Lucky 13 consists of members from at least 11 different countries, all with different cultures and backgrounds. Being a member of this team has taught me quite a few things about building relationships and doing things other than just surfing. Socializing and taking the time to learn about other members life experiences contributes to building successful business relationships as well as life long friendships.

I have learned that there is always someone awake and willing to help during any time of the day. Whether it be an online problem, a situation at home, or even a problem at your offline job there is always someone available to lend an ear or offer a helping hand. If the problem is not able to be solved by a member of the team, they know who to direct you to for the answers. It’s like having an extended family that you know you can always count on.

Also, the team has your back. We had one instance where a team member were being belittled because of language differences. We rallied around this team member and made it known hate has no place on Lucky 13!

In the team Skype room, I have built some great relationships, learned a lot about people that I would not have got the chance to know otherwise, and have had a lot of fun along the way. It makes me tend to forget that it’s working and building business relationships, rather than just playing. But a quote from the great writer Mark Twain once said “If you love your job, you will never work a day in your life.” When it comes to internet marketing, I think I’m at that point.

It was either here or jail
the team that never sleeps

It’s Wendy!

Up till May 20th I knew very little other than how to browse the web and send emails. That goes to show what an excellent program CTP really is. Please be patient with me I am doing all that I can do get in the skype room with you. Until then I have always taken the time to respond to all messages that are sent to me.

Now just to introduce myself so that you can get to know me a little. I feel that relationships are best built overtime. I’m not going anywhere unless someone threatens me in some way like the last team I was on. I’m not going to throw anyone under the bus but there was something really wrong with where I was. I didn’t know anything about team surfing but I like to be a part of a team and because I was new it seemed like the right move to seek help by being on a team so the first one to ask I joined. Things were great at first I made a few connections with some of the members and still consider them friends today. It’s funny that I made such a connection so quickly. They are no longer a part of that team either.

Since I joined Lucky13, I have felt so welcomed. I feel that not only can I help the team but the team can help me as well. I know that it’s not all about the points but it is nice when I can help contribute to a team that was doing very well before I came aboard.

I hope that I am not boring any of you. Most of what I’m saying you already know so I will switch it up a bit and tell you about me.

I am a 36 year old mother of two boys. My oldest came to me when I was only 15. And although it was extremely difficult I wouldn’t change a thing. He is a happy well rounded 21 yr old. He is in college and most importantly to me, he has not made me a grandmother yet. He was the most compassionate child I have ever known. Always more concerned about others more so than himself that is a gift he received from me. I always come last. It’s just in my nature. In my life people have noticed that and took advantage but I feel that even then I was the one getting the better end of the stick. I sleep very well at night because I try to be the best me I can be every single day. Not to say that I am perfect but my life has made me cautious. My youngest is so different. He will be 11 at the end of July and it seems sometimes that there is no one else in his world but him. It bothers me sometimes but he is still young and it doesn’t mean he is bad he is just different.

I would like to get a couple things out in the open. I am a recovering addict. I have battled the disease of addiction for over 20 years. My youngest son’s father died almost a year ago from liver failure at the age of 36. He was an alcoholic. We were together for 13 years and had been separated 2 ½ yrs before he passed away. I loved him very much and didn’t leave him because he was a bad person. He was a wonderful man and a great father but his addiction always got the best part of him and after years of trying, I just gave up. I did so for myself and our son. I wanted him to see how a father and partner was supposed to be. I became engaged to a former boyfriend that I hadn’t seen in 20 yrs. He sent me a friend request on FB and two weeks later I was moving to Knoxville TN to start a new life. Some may say why so soon. Well I just knew in my heart that this was the one. I had asked God in the most desperate prayer I had ever prayed to Please send me a good man to help me raise my boys. And I believe He answered me by sending me Rob.
It’s been almost 4 yrs since that prayer and I have felt more love in that short time than I have ever felt in my life and I thank God for it every single day.

Things in my life are far from perfect but there is a saying that I love. “ If Satan is always trying to get you to look into your past, there’s something he doesn’t want you to see in your future”.

We have lived in Hampton, Va. For the past 2 yrs and are getting ready to go back to Knoxville and I can’t wait. I am starting college and intend to get Bachelor’s in Business. I am also going to try to open a business selling vapor products. There are so many of them that I don’t have enough space to explain it all but basically it is electronic cigarettes. I am also going to learn about marketing and economics. So that once I do start running a business I will know a lot about it.

Well I hope that this post will allow you to see just a little bit into who I am. If I get another chance to post in this blog I will keep it more light hearted. I feel that in order for you to get to know me now you need to know a bit about where I’ve been and who I used to be. God Bless you all and thank you so much for letting me be a part of your team.
