Moving is such a drag.

Our process started about a year ago as we began looking for a new place to stay because we started having problems with where we lived before. We = me, my lovely German wife, my 23 year old son and 20 year old daughter. My kids have been so wonderful throughout this entire ordeal. They could have simply decided to go off on their own and leave mom and dad to ‘fend for themselves,’ but they have stuck with us. I love those kids of mine 🙂

We were eventually evicted because we were behind on our rent and mostly because our ex-landlord is such an arrogant self-centered jerk. We were supposed to move out or be thrown out by the end of March. We found a place two weeks before that. Great right?! Well…. yes and no.

Even though we found a new place and had a rental contract, the ex-landlord jerk would not stop the legal ‘I want you outta my house’ proceedings – even after both our lawyer and his lawyer trying to convince him to do so. What a jerk. Two weeks is not enough time to get movers. Thank Jehovah God my spiritual brothers and sisters and some other very good friends came through for us and helped us out. If not for that my family and I would have been put into a homeless shelter and everything of ours still in the jerks house would have been his to keep, sell or have destroyed (at our expense). He did eventually agree to giving us a few more days (first about a half a day and then a few more days after a friend of mine negotiated things).

Needless to say everything was a rushed chaotic mess! But now we are finally in our new apartment which is much smaller than we are used to, but a very nice place. It even feels more like home than the other place did – even with it looking like a ‘stuff bomb’ blew up in it! 🙂

My family and I have learned a lot over the past couple of years about who our true friends really are and how much of our ‘family’ is really family. There is a saying here in Germany – “Hast du viel bist du was, hast nichts bist du niemand.” Translated it means “When you have a lot of money and material possessions then you are ‘somebody,’ when you have nothing you are ‘nobody’.” Through all f this we certainly found out who our friends and family really are.

Now it is time for us to start rebuilding our lives and for me to start rebuilding my businesses. I have been away from TE and Internet Marketing land for a bit because of all of this, but I am slowly starting my return to action. My finances are still shaky, but I am determined to come back better, stronger and wiser for the experience. I have started out right away by…. BAM! – upgrading again to Kore4, which is one of the best upgrades in the industry. I have also managed to keep my subscription to RocketResponder going so that my email marketing can continue – such a very important element in the industry today. RocketResponder truly makes all that autoresponder stuff simple. They are important enough for me to remain upgraded in them. Yes folks, we have to spend money to make money in this industry, didn’t you know that? 🙂

So, you might not see me around too much this month, but I will try to start being more active as soon as possible. I also have my teaching business – English Reader ETC to run. I have plans for rebuilding and improving the site and my teaching business as a whole – eventually doing mainly online teaching. That is how I earn the bulk of the money that the friendly bill collectors are waiting to snatch from me every month 🙂

I am hanging in there folks. I’m even doing more than ‘hanging,’ I’m fighting. Fighting to keep working at living the dream and not simply sitting back and bad mouthing all the successful folks in the industry and somehow blaming them and everyone else for my lack of success (That’s a HINT people!).

Whatever you are doing in the industry do your best to give it your all. When you fall down (and you WILL fall down) dust your self off, bandage yourself up and get back at it – but this time approaching a bit wiser than before. Do this as long as it takes for you to reach your goals in the Internet Marketing industry and life in general.

Thanks for reading my blah blah blah 🙂

Till next time!

Go Lucky 13 and Lucky 13 Too!
